 I had my car re-mapped by Celtic Tuning after hearing a number of good reports. I had previously fitted a tuning box which did increase the output of the engine but not by an awful lot. I had great communication with them before they visited me, always happy to answer any questions you have. I have a couple of other modifications to my car which I wanted them to take into account - a downpipe/sports-cat and cat-back exhaust, a PD160 intake and Green panel filter.
The day came and they arrived on the dot, did my car and it was time for a drive - a spirited one! Instantly you notice the increased throttle response. The turbo begins spooling earlier than before, it then pulls a lot harder but smoothly all the way - right to the redline, with no drastic 'drop-off' in power that I experienced before. The in-gear ability of the car is devastating now and it's a pleasure to drive knowing you have the power and torque to get you safely out of any potential situation.
Having driven the car for a good 1000 miles since the re-map, I can honestly say that if driven in an identical fashion to previously, the fuel economy is slightly increased. Obviously though, I've been driving the car just that little harder as it now brings a huge smile to my face every time I press the 'happy' pedal. Fuel consumption in this case will be slightly reduced (as it would previously), but who cares?
I big thumbs up for Celtic Tuning, I'd recommend them to anyone. Thanks very much for transforming my car...

 Hi Graham, just a quick note to let you know everything is running as smooth as. I have covered a good 150 miles and everything has settled down no problems - mpg has actually increased even though I have been putting my foot down (ESP wonders what's hit it) a bit more than normal, just goes to show the improvement when I drive it in "normal mode".Will be in touch when I come to change my car;
a) for advice on what to get that is mappable by yourselves and with what results, and
b) to actually get the work done !!!!

 I decided to go with Celtic Tuning for a remap after hearing several positive reports. I had also previously driven a celtic-remapped fabia vRS which left me feeling that my car was lacking somewhat.
The remap has truly transformed the car. Every gear pulls like train right upto the redline - its so much fun.
I went for a "little" drive after the work was done clocking up ~150miles that night. It was like driving a new car, I didn't want to stop driving it. Every dab of the throttle forced me into the back of my seat, put a huge grin on my face, and left boy racers chocking on my soot (metaphorically speaking)

 I bought a new VRS brand spanking new in march 06, 2 weeks later I got Graham to remap with his super map (I had used Celtic Tuning before with my HDI and found there service and remap fantastic). Anyway after we remapped the car we went for a test drive and well it was a different car - pulled a lot better and had more urgency about it.
I'm on 15k now and the car is going stronger than ever, no problems at all, well ok except that I cannot resist to drive fast ;-) All I can say if you have a VRS then get a Celtic Tuning remap - they should come as standard from Skoda.
Trust me, I was worried about getting my car remapped but I will never ever
drive another car that has not been given the Celtic Tuning Treatment.

 I would thank you guys for tuning my Skoda TDI. The car is more responsive low down revs and the 0-60 time is down to 8 seconds.
Saying this I have notes an improvment of 5-6 mpg driving economical. So if you have got a standard TDI I highly recomend to get a remap done by Celtic Tuning.

 "The re-map can be carried out wherever your car is situated; mine was carried out over the Christmas break at my house so it is very convenient. The whole process takes about 1.5 hours, a preliminary test run takes place followed by a trial run after the re-mapping.
The difference in power is noticeable immediately, although as Celtic tell you, the full effects take up to 48 hours to become apparent. Not only has the power difference increased but the car is much smoother and appears more refined, gear changing has also been reduced. Can't verify the improvement in fuel economy yet as I've been having too much fun!!!" |

 After a couple of weeks driving the vehicle is far more flexible to drive, with obviously improved acceleration, but without any noticeable loss in fuel consumption.
The main reason for the tuning was to improve the power output when towing our single horsebox. After two week-ends, each of 400+ mile motoring to venues down country, there is ample power to tow at the legal limit when on the flat, with a tendency to easily exceed this at times, and the journey over the A66 to Scotch Corner is achieved with seemingly less strain on the engine, providing a more relaxed ride.

 After some initial research i decided to use Celtic tuning for my ECU re map as they seemed the only company to give realistic and honest advice on what was involved.
The booking process was simple and easy just a quick e mail and their engineer arrived as stated and quickly got to work. Roughly 1 hour later and no fuss i had a car with 75BHP extra, the difference is quite something! I now have a skoda estate that can fend off boy racers!
i would recommend Celtic tuning to anyone wishing to improve there performance and economy, there technical backup and support is also second to none.

 Skoda Octavia Vrs, 1.8t 180bhp re-mapped to around 225bhp.
This is the second car I have had re-mapped by Celtic Tuning and once again I'm left smiling all the time.
The re-map set up perfect just like last time and I've got no problems.
It makes a massive performance difference, Celtic Tuning are friendly, knowledgeable guys and competitively priced.
No complaints at all, A + service.

 The remapping went quite well but any minor difficulties were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
I have had the weekend to get used to the vehicle and it does seem a different car, even more Superb than it was before.
It feels much more responsive in most situations and certainly more flexible in fifth gear.
I am sure that my driving experience will be substantially enhanced and I already feel much younger.
