We are pleased to announce that we are able to provide our electronic engine enhancements for the VAG 1.6 TDi range of engines. Fitted with the latest technology from Siemens Continental, the PCR2.1 ECU has been the most eagerly awaited in the tuning industry.

We are able to provide all types of tuning for this engine from economy tuning right up to custom upgrades. To give an indication of what we can achieve, the 1.6 TDi 103bhp goes up to 153bhp and from 184lbft up to 238lbft giving an amazing improvement in performance.

We are pleased to announce that we are able to provide our electronic engine enhancements for the very latest Mercedes equipped with the 2143cc CDi engines from 2011 onwards.

The new model variants are equipped with the very latest technology from Delphi, the CRD3.1 ECU, which are powered by the latest developments from Infineon and their TriCore processor. Models include the latest 200, 220 and 250 series including the Blue Efficiency models. All upgrades on the latest CRD3.1 are OBD requiring no removal of the ECU.

We are pleased to announce that we are able to provide launch control as part of our tuning upgrades. The system uses the standard engine management system and therefore can be included as part of our ECU Remap.

The launch control enables you to hold full throttle with the clutch depressed and it will maintain a fixed 2,500rpm for perfect launch when the clutch is engaged. This is available mainly for the 1.9 TDi PD range of engines fitted to most of the VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat range.

Kia Optima 1.7 CRDi 134bhp Tuning

The new Kia Optima 1.7 CRDi is the latest offering from the Korean manufacturer and is a truly impressive machine. Despite only having a 1.7 16v 4 cylinder diesel engine, it provides a claimed 134bhp and 236lbft torque giving very good and deceptive performance on the road. There is a good reason for this also, as on the dynamometer the vehicle p...roduced an extremely impressive 151bhp and 248lbft giving it performance to match those of the outgoing 2.0 turbo diesels from other manufacturers.

Equipped with the latest EDC17 common rail diesel technology from Bosch, it is very well equipped and provides levels of refinement up there with the best in the market. After extensive development, aimed purely at a very linear power delivery to suit the C-Segments cruising abilities, we managed to achieve a very linear 178bhp and 277lbft giving it strong performance whilst maintaining the refined nature of the car. We actually managed to achieve more from this engine with ease; however, the goal with this wasn't maximum performance but more for improved refinement. A job well done...

BMW 330d 245bhp (E92/93)

The latest 3.0d engine from BMW, the N57D30, runs the latest generation BOSCH EDC17 ECU controller with tuner protection and no OBD flash capability. The 245bhp engine is a superb base for tuning and in our hands is capable of producing 335bhp and a massive 475lbft torque. The power is so impressive it eclipses the N57D30T1 3.0 Twin turbo engine which produces 460lbft standard.

The good news for the E93 325d owners with 201bhp is that it is simply a factory detuned variant of the 245bhp, making 335bhp and 475lbft available to those who want it. Likewise, we are also to provide a more subtle power increase for those who don't want M3 destroying power.

Vauxhall 2.0 CDTi 157bhp – Bosch EDC17C19 ECU

The 2.0 CDTi engine in the Vauxhall Insignia and Astra is a superb engine for tuning. Sourced from Fiat Power train Technologies, it is a highly modified variant of the early 1.9 CDTi engine but with a 1mm wider bore. Released in 2008 in the Insignia, the 2.0 CDTi engine utilises the current generation Bosch EDC17 ECU which is capable via OBD.

In 2009, Vauxhall had tuner protection installed making it impossible via the OBD port and still impossible for most due to error maps. We are able to tune all year's right up to current day with absolutely no issues and with 226bhp and 352lbft, these are quicker than ever before!!!

Vauxhall have been installing FPT engines since 2004 when they first came out in the Astra H and Vectra C.  We have been working on these engines since 2003 and are sure we have unrivalled experience in making these engines truly powerful whilst maintaining optimum reliability.  We can provide for all levels of tuning on these engines...

Our latest software development for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0 JTDm 170bhp allows a further +38bhp & +70lbft to be delivered using the DNA swith on the move.

Alfa Romeos' patented DNA switch allows for a choice of 3 different drive settings for various conditions. The three settings available are Dynamic, Normal and All weather. Naturally 'Dynamic' is the sportiest of the 3 with a very notable sharpness in throttle and more torque through the entire rev range.

We have utilised this technolgy so that 'Normal' mode of the switch drives as standard and when required a complete transformation of power delivery can be delivered by engaging 'Dynamic' mode.

Mercedes 2.2 CDi - Delphi ECU's

We are now able to tune the very latest Delphi ECU's fitted to the Mercedes 2.2 CDi range via OBD. This includes all 2.2 CDI's fitted with the DELPHI CRD2 OM651 ECU which is fitted across the entire range of Euro 5 engines.

This engine is also now available on Eco Recalibration for fleet vehicles requiring rpm and speed limitation.

We are able to offer a range of fleet management solutions for companies in order to achieve a variety of goals. We are able to implement software into the ECU which will limit/control how the vehicle is driven. We can provide:

•In gear RPM limiters on petrol & diesel engines to prevent the engine from being over revved or thrashed. The benefit of this is improved fuel economy and increased longevity of the engine.

•Maximum speed limiters. This ensures vehicles are not driven at high speed and can force the driver to drive at economical speeds for fuel savings and extended engine longevity.

•Economy tuning to save fuel, linked with RPM and speed limiters can provide for impressive returns.

The latest Focus RS uses the Volvo 2.5 Turbo engine from their infamous R series of engines. After extensive development we have managed to achieve an impressive 369bhp with software alone.

The RevoKnuckle suspension and Quaife limited-slip differential ensures that the Duratec engine puts the power down with great control.

This power upgrade is software alone and does not require any other modifications!

DPF Removal

DPF removalCeltic Tuning are now able to remove the DPF from the engine management system on Bosch EDC15, EDC16 and EDC17 ECU's as well as Siemens SID, PPD and Magnetti MarellI Multijet ECU's. The DPF will need to be removed and replaced with a DPF removal pipe.

We can also remove the Anti Pollution warning fault preventing limp home mode on early Peugeot HDI's with FAP installed, the empty/faulty FAP system can remain in place.

This allows us to obtain more power for customers wishing to get the absolute best from their vehicle.

Fiat 500 Abarth Esseesse

Fiat Abarth remap

We are now able to offer factory Esseesse upgrades to the Fiat 500 Abarth using factory software. The 500 Esseesse is tuned up to 160bhp and 169lbft, up from 135bhp and 152lbft, using software alone meaning it maintains factory reliability. The software upgrade takes the 0-60 time from 7.9 to 7.4 seconds and from 127mph up to 131mph.

For those wishing to go further we are able to achieve over 170bhp with ease from the punchy 1.4 T-Jet engine.
