The most advanced engine BMW have ever fitted to a production vehicle has raised the bar in terms of performance and technology in a normally aspirated engine. After a long time in development the upgrade to the engine management system produces 546bhp & 414lbft and with the removal of the 155mph speed limiter gives true 200mph potential. Power can be improved further still with modifications to the aspiration of the engine with improvements to the intake and exhaust systems.
