FIAT Punto (Incl. Van) 1.3 16v Multijet 70 bhp
The 1.3 Multijet uses a fixed geometry turbo charger and a Marelli Multijet ECU with no facility for boost pressure control. The power we achieve at 96bhp and 170lbft torque is extremely reliable and greatly improves the drivability and fuel economy. The slow delay these have from low rpm’s is improved but can not be removed entirely, it is due to the fixed geometry turbo and is none adjustable.
We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
