My 128 bhp X-type Jaguar Diesel Sport was remapped a week ago, taking the power up to 170 bhp with 323 ftlbs of torque.

I had tried a Spider Tuning Box for a few months, which gave a usable improvement; however, the remap Celtic completed was literally streets ahead of the tuning box.

The car is so much sharper and eager to respond to the throttle across the whole of the rev range with mid range acceleration a revelation making overtaking manoeuvres a much safer and pleasurable experience with the TED (time exposed to danger) greatly reduced.

The car literally flies and I can only say that I am delighted with the transformation. I can say it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, especially as the car is much faster than my son's 2.2 Jaguar, who says he is nothing short of astonished by the improvement to the cars performance.

Without doubt, this is the best money I have ever spent on a car it's a bargain! (I had contemplated changing the car for a more powerful and refined model, however, I will be hanging onto the car for the foreseeable future).

Nevertheless, when I do change cars, my first call will be to Celtic for a remap!
