When I took delivery of my Seat Ibiza Cupra Diesel, I was expecting something nippy and economical. The car lived up to this billing, however, as usual I got bored and fancied more power, ideally without sacrificing economy too much. Celtic Tuning seemed to have a solution in the shape of a remap - I was told it could be as aggressive or mild as I wanted. Graham came to my home address armed with his laptop and downloaded the contents of the car's ecu in a matter of minutes. I was talked through the whole process and I got to see the boost and fuelling being tweaked - I wanted as much power as possible, so I told Graham to really go for it! (within reason).

Once the new map had been uploaded we took the car out for an initial test drive, I was told to take it easy for the first few miles and use limited revs, then to progressively drive the car harder. The first time the pedal hit the floor all seemed normal, but I was assured the ecu was just adapting to it's new parameters.... Sure enough after another couple of miles the car underwent a transformation! It may sound like a cliche, but 3rd gear really does pull like 2nd used to and in 2nd the poor old traction control gets a real workout!

With some tweaking to the fuelling and a final test drive Graham was on his way again, the car is so much more fun now - SEAT should have released it like this, in gear acceleration really does demolish my friend's Impreza turbo now! The only downside is my tyre bill.... Cheers

Seat Ibiza FR130 Remap

As owner of the TDISport club (www.TDISport.com) CelticTuning came to me to advertise. Further down the line I took the plunge and when down in Cornwall I got a remap to around 190Bhp.

Normally the guys would travel anywhere over the country to come and remap the car, on this occasion I travelled to them. I met up with Graham and Tony (Two of the main CelticTuning guys), and they were absolutely brilliant, despite their heavy work load they made sure I was totally 100% satisfied throughout the whole experience.

Firstly Graham took a copy of the original map, we then went for a test drive to make sure the car was running perfect before any changes were carried out. After a problem free test drive we returned to the base where Graham allowed me to see all the graphing concerning the power curves etc. These chaps know their stuff, they assured me that the car would be fine and calmed any nerves I had about the car.

Upon completing the software changes the new map was loaded into the ECU, it was then time for the second test drive, all was just as normal, until i put my heavy foot down.... A whole new can of worms then opened. The performance is astonishing, power is right there in every gear as/when needed. The acceleration from any speed puts a big smile on my face.

I am pleased to say that one month later and I am still very impressed with it, economy is also increased for "normal" driving, it never fails to deliver.

Seat Ibiza Cupra 160 TDi Tuning

Hi there Just to let you know what an excellent job Tony has done to remapping my SEAT IBIZA CUPRA TDI. This car has been totally transformed with exceptional power and torque, the car hits the 0-60mph barrier in just 6.5 secs (previous 7.6)and the MPG has gone up from 52MPG to 56MPG, i just need to keep an eye on the speedo as it accelerates so quick, many thanks to the celtic tuning team.....

Seat Leon FR150 TDi Remap

Just wanted to say a big thanks to you guys, getting my car remapped was the best money i've spent on a car! It has completely changed the way it drives.

Pete was really good, he explained what he was doing the whole way through, it took quite a long time to do due to technology problems but we got there in the end and it was well worth the wait!

My main worry was whether i was going to notice much difference but that question was answered as soon as i took the car out for the test drive. I was amazed at the transformation of the car.

The car now pulls in every gear and right throughout the rev range as well, third gear is quite outstanding, i can be hovering at about 2000 revs put my foot down and it flies, the traction control flashes at me a fair bit too!

Anyway many thanks again, I would recommend you guys to anyone. Cheers

Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi 100bhp Remap

Well, all I can say is WOW. Im used to having cars remapped (i've had each of my smarts done) but this was something else. Tony from Celtic Tuning came along to the Premier Travel Inn I was staying at. He took the settings off my car and went back home to tweak the program in the warm while I went and had dinner. He came along after and put the map on, and we went for a spin. It was crap weather in Bodmin last night and I was tired but I could see the potential.

Well today its a flying machine! It'll pull in 5th gear whereas it didnt used to before, and its still as docile around town. The website says its a 150bhp remap so will have to try and get it on a rolling road and see how accurate that is.

I'm amazed too that todays MPG was 50.2! I've driven it about the same if not a bit harder and would have normally been around 48mpg.

So highly recommended by me

Seat Leon Cupra R 2.0 TFSi 265bhp

Very helpful and friendly staff. I had a stage two remap...taking my R from 251 bhp (wheels) 283 bhp (engine) and 253 lbft to 306 bhp (wheels) 340 bhp (engine) and 298 lbft. much more responsive and noticible increase in power and performance. Would recommend to all.
