This is my second trip to Celtic Tuning; I was so impressed with the knowledge and work that Graham and his team performed on my 850 T5 I booked my V70 T5 for a similar make over. Having had the benefit of the first remap on my 850 T5 approx 3 years ago by Celtic Tuning I was very keen to see similar gains in both performance and fuel economy. Strange to believe I know, but post remap the 850 T5 returned an additional 5 mpg. The set up at Celtic is certainly impressive, with the new workshop and rolling road facilities completing the package. One thing I like about the set up there is the relaxed atmosphere, however behind the scenes there seems to be a buzz about performance and technology that is simply beyond me. But more importantly and unlike others there's no false pretences on magical power figures, there spot on with predicted gains and they deliver ‘what it says on the tin’. So on the road the V70 T5 now pulls 1 bar boost, low down it’s more responsive and torque is definitely up. Third gear is interesting (especially in the wet), and it’s great to pass the ‘younger’ generation in my Swedish arm chair!!!!! Fuel consumption is better all round and is now returning an additional 6 mpg on a long run, If you’re considering a remap, check these guys out. I even took my kids along as there’s a games consol and viewing area.
