Back to ModelsThe 2.0d engine fitted to the 520d is equipped with common rail 2 technology, introducing a new range of ECUs and taking refinement to the next level. With power from 160bhp up to 212bhp and 316lbft torque the performance from the 2.0d engine is vastly improved giving it more power and torque than the very latest 2.0 Twin Turbo diesel. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fueling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
