Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 JTD 20v 175 bhp

The 2.4 20v JTD uses the highly acclaimed 5 cylinder engine which boasts huge power and refinement as standard. After an extensive recent development program we have managed to achieve 230bhp and 361lbft torque which gives for unbelievable performance from a front wheel drive diesel. The in gear performance is massively improved due to a 60lbft torque increase which is delivered from 2,500rpm right through to the red line at 5,000rpm! We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
